CHURCH PRAYER MEETING
Text: Exodus 30:17-21

REVIEW OF ARTEFACTS IN THE TABERNACLE

1. In The Holy of Holies Exodus 25:1–22

a) The Ark of the Covenant (The Ark of the Testimony)

b) Entrance: The High Priest only and just once a year on the Day of Atonement

2. Altar of Incense    Exodus 30:1-10

a) In the Holy Place

b) Incense to be offered by the Priests

c) God will meet with His servants here

3. The Table of Showbread    Exodus 25:23-30

a) Reminder of God’s provision and sustenance

b) Only the priests may eat this holy bread

4. The Golden Lampstand    Exodus 25:31-39

a) Opposite of the Table of showbread

b) Representing illumination

5. The Altar for the burnt offerings    Exodus 27:1-8

a) The first artefact to be seen

b) Offerings are presented to the Lord

i) In worship

ii) In gratitude

iii) In faith

iv) A willing heart

6. The Bronze Laver    Exodus 30:17-21

a) For the priests to wash

b) They are to wash their hands and feet

c) They are to keep this statute on pain of death

2. A token gift

3. Only half a shekel

a) For the rich

b) For the poor

4. From all who are twenty and above

5. This would be a love gift for the maintenance of the Tabernacle ministry
