A FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD

Impossible To Please God Without Faith

Having faith is the only way to please God. In this world, people seek to please themselves rather than God. Young people, if we truly have genuine faith, we will seek to please Him.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him”
Hebrews 11:6

When we do not have faith, the tendency is for us to go astray. We will neglect our walk with God. We will rebel against the Lord and sin against Him. Without faith, we cannot please Him. Having faith is the starting point of our relationship with Him. It forms the basis of our continuing relationship with Him. We need to have faith in order to please Him.

Necessary To Believe The Facts Of God

“He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6

Our faith is built on definite knowledge about God. There are two facts that the writer of Hebrews wants us to focus on.

1. He Is

He is the self-existing and eternal God. He existed from the beginning of time. He continues to exist today and He exists in the future. He is the invisible and only true God. We must believe that He truly is what He is described as in the Bible.

2. He Is A Rewarder

God is also a rewarder of those who sincerely seek Him. When we seek God for salvation, He will reward us with eternal life. When we seek Him in prayer, according to His grace, He will answer. When we seek Him for wisdom, He will give it to all liberally. He is a rewarder of those who exercise faith in seeking Him everyday.

Faith To Diligently Seeking God

“Who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6

Our faith must result in seeking to draw closer to the Lord. When we exercise faith by seeking Him daily and consistently, the Lord’s blessings will be upon us. Let’s seek the Lord more because we believe that the Lord will reward us. Let’s endeavour to have a deeper relationship with Him.
