a) God wants us to know that our tribulation is not in vain

b) He wants us to comfort others who might be experiencing tribulation (2 Corinthians 1:6)

c) It could result in salvation for others (2 Corinthians 1:6)

d) God wants us to deepen our trust in Him (2 Corinthians 1:9-10)
