(II) THE EPISTLES OF THE APOSTLES
1. Epistles were simply “Letters”
2. They contained the following:-
a) Instruction
b) Correction
c) Inspiration
3. They were written by holy servants of God
a) To minister to the churches
b) To encourage the brethren
c) To combat false teachers/ false doctrines
(III) THE CONCEPT OF BEING LIVING EPISTLES OF CHRIST
1. Epistles written upon the heart
a) Written in the heart of the apostles (2 Corinthians 3:2)
b) Known by all
c) Read by all
2. Epistles of Christ
a) Written by the servants of God (like Paul) (2 Corinthians 3:3)
b) Written by the Spirit of God (2 Corinthians 3:3)
c) Written on the heart (2 Corinthians 3:3)

1. The love of Christ (John 13:34-35)
2. Great faith (Matthew 8:10)
