Why Is A Winning Formula Needed?

1. Because others have tried, lost and failed

2. Because the race and the fight is tough and brutal

3. Because it is the way to guaranteed success

The Right Perspective

1. Mindset of certainty

“Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty.” (1 Cor 9:26)

2. Mindset of winning

“Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” (1 Cor 9:24)

3. Mindset of eternity

“But we for an imperishable crown.” (1 Cor 9:25)

The Right Application

1. Sacrifice

“Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” (1 Cor 9:24)

2. Self-control

“And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.” (1 Cor 9:25)

3. Discipline

“But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection…” (1 Cor 9:27)
