“When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Psalm 63:6

(II) The Purpose Of Meditation

“Because You have been my help…Your right hand upholds me.” Psalm 63:7, 8

1. To learn vital lessons of life

2. To walk closely with God

3. To respond to God appropriately

(III) The Content Of Meditation

“When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Psalm 63:6
“Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.” Psalm 119:97

1. The Lord God Himself

2. The relationship with the Lord

3. His laws

(IV) The Process Of Meditation

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

1. Preparation of the heart, mind and spirit
