(I) THE WICKED AND THEIR EVIL ACTIVITIES
1. They speak peace but evil is in their hearts (Psalm 28:3)
2. They engage in wicked endeavours (Psalm 28:4)
3. They have no regard for the works of God (Psalm 28:5)
(II) THE RIGHTEOUS AND THEIR WHOLESOME ACTIVITIES
1. Seeking the Lord in prayer (Psalm 28:1)
2. Making supplications to God (Psalm 28:2)
3. Direct Contrast to the Wicked (Psalm 28:1-2)
a) There is a strong relationship of faith/trust in God ( Psalm 28:7b )
b) There is the exercise of great reliance on God ( Psalm 28:7a )
i) Strength
ii) Shield
(III) IN PRAISE OF GOD
1. Because He hears our prayers and supplications (Psalm 28:6b)
2. Because the Lord supplies strength in hard times (Psalm 28:7a)
3. Because the Lord shields and protects His own (Psalm 28:7a)
4. Because the Lord is a saving refuge for His anointed (Psalm 28:8b)
(IV) PRAYERS THAT WILL BE HEARD
1. A prayer for deliverance (Psalm 28:9a)
2. A prayer for blessing (Psalm 28:9b)
3. A prayer for shepherding (Psalm 28:9c)
