a) 1100 shekels of silver
b) This was stolen
c) She placed a curse on the money that had been stolen
3. Confession of Micah
a) He had stolen the money
b) He had heard the mother placing a curse on the money
c) Out of fear he returned the money to the mother
4. The mother’s words to Micah
a) “May you be blessed by the LORD, my son” Judges 17:2c
b) “I had wholly dedicated the silver from my hand to the LORD for my son,
To make a carved image; now therefore I will return it to you.” Judges 17:3
i) Changed tune completely
ii) Curse withdrawn
iii) Pronouncement of blessing instead
iv) Money was dedicated to the Lord
v) It was to make a carved image by the son
