Morning Session

1. The Continuing Saga of the Witnessing Jerusalem Church
2. Accompany sign miracles          Acts 5:12-16
3. The arrest of the Apostles
4. Bearing witness before the Sanhedrin Council

And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him

Acts 5:32

a) Context: Apostolic Band brought before the Sanhedrin Council

b) Apostles jailed for their work of witnessing          Acts 5:18

c) Angelic encouragement          Acts 5:19-20

d) Courageous Witnessing in public          Acts 5:25

e) Commitment to obey God rather than men          Acts 5:29

f) Declaration: “We are His witnesses”

g) Declaration: “So also is the Holy Spirit”

h) Apostles beaten by order of the Sanhedrin Council          Acts 5:40

i) Triumphant spirit and attitude demonstrated

Rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name

j) Bearing witness ceaselessly concerning faith in Christ          Acts 5:42
