STRATEGY OF BALAK

1. He sent messengers to Balaam

2. Balaam lived near the River Euphrates

3. Message to Balaam   (Numbers 22:3-6)

a) A people from Egypt

b) Settling next to me

c) They are too mighty for me

d) Curse the people for me

e) Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land

f) I know that he whom you bless is blessed and he who is cursed is cursed

4. Messengers

He was asked by the messengers of Balak to curse the people who had come out of Egypt   (Numbers 22:10-11)

a) Go back to your land

b) For the LORD has refused to give me permission to go with you   (Numbers 22:13)
