A GREAT LIGHT
Darkness looms and begins to spread,
Till the whole land is living in dread.
Darkness threatens to rule completely;
Light is the only answer assuredly!
The Light of the world has been given;
He will show us the way to Heaven.
How wonderful to celebrate Christ’s birth;
He came to bring both Light and mirth.
He knows the different needs of Man;
He came to show us salvation’s plan.
He will bring light to dispel great darkness;
He offers wonderful and glorious happiness!
Not only will He be our Saviour precious;
He will be our Prince of Peace most gracious!
He will give us good Counsel as only He can;
How we must delight in God’s glorious plan.
