1. The righteous/ the upright
a) To rejoice in the LORD (Psalm 33:1)

ii) Instrument of 10 strings
b) Challenge
i) To compose new songs (Psalm 33:3a)
ii) To play skilfully with much joy (Psalm 33:3b)
REJOICING IN THE WORD OF THE LORD
1. The word of the LORD is right (Psalm 33:4a)
2. Truth undergirds all His works (Psalm 33:4b)
3. Power of God’s word
a) By His word the heavens were made (Psalm 33:6a)
b) Includes all the host of planets (Psalm 33:6b)
c) He also made the seas (Psalm 33:7)
d) He spoke and it was done (Psalm 33:9a)
e) He commanded and it stood fast (Psalm 33:9b)
4. Appropriate responses to the LORD
a) To fear the LORD (Psalm 33:8a)
b) To stand in awe of God (Psalm 33:8b)
REJOICING IN THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD
1. Righteousness and justice are loved by the Lord (Psalm 33:5a)
2. The goodness of the Lord is obvious all over the earth (Psalm 33:5b)
