REMEMBER THE LORD
How can we forget all that God has done?
He has protected us from morn to set of sun.
His works of grace and mercy are manifold;
We must never allow our hearts to grow cold.
How can we forget the New Covenant given?
This is glorious news all the way from Heaven.
The promises of blessing are truly amazing;
Our hearts must be stirred, God’s name praising!
We must choose to remember God’s wonderful grace;
Our hearts must be deeply moved to seek His face.
To effectively remember, we must take time to meditate;
To dwell on the Lord diligently, we must not hesitate.
Our hearts would come alive and our faith would be renewed;
A vibrant faith in God would result in divine strength imbued.
There is every reason to take the time to consciously remember;
Let us never our souls to become indolent, loving slumber!
