THE HERITAGE OF THOSE WHO FEAR YOUR NAME
To truly “fear the Lord” is to fear His name;
His name is never to be taken in vain.
To all who fear the Lord a “Heritage” is given;
They are given this “privilege” from Heaven.
That “Heritage” may be understood as God’s “Blessings;”
Different terms are used but they have the same meaning.
The Lord is bound to His people by a Covenant decree;
To all who fear His name, He gives blessings liberally.
The “Heritage” is the believer’s “Inheritance;”
To comprehend this truth is of great importance.
This knowledge brings to the heart great peace;
From all our fears, the Lord will grant release.
One aspect of this “Heritage” is longevity;
Life is a treasure that comes with responsibility.
It is good and right to desire to serve the Lord;
How wonderful it is to serve a living God!
