THE WORDS OF THE LORD
The words of the LORD are indeed pure;
Believing in Him would help us endure.
Our prayers for help are not in vain;
We would never be put to shame.
The prayers of the poor would be heard by God;
He has given His promises and they are on record.
He will arise and deliver them from oppression;
This word of promise should cause jubilation.
We need not be troubled by worries;
But the Lord will not respond hastily.
He has His own great plan in mind;
His wisdom is profound and divine.
It is enough that He has given us a promise;
His wonderful word is to be deeply cherished.
Let us do our part in reading His word diligently;
The LORD would fulfil all He has said faithfully.
