INTO YOUR HAND I COMMIT MY SPIRIT
There are times when our very life may be in danger;
Fear seeks to overwhelm, but we must remember.
God is our Rock and Refuge and this is proven;
Our Redeemer is the mighty Lord of heaven!
Cunning and deadly traps may be put in place;
But we need not be fearful for there is God’s grace.
We may commit our very spirit to our great God;
The keeping of our soul is the work of the Lord!
The name of the Lord will never be dishonoured;
For His own name’s sake, our spirit is covered.
We need not fear death even if it stalks our soul;
Our spirit is safe for we are part of God’s fold!
Though we may be weak, His strength He gives;
Though weary, our spirit will find deep peace.
Our soul is entrusted to the safest pair of hands;
May we learn to fully trust in the Lord’s Plans!
