BLESSED BE THE LORD
How we must bless the LORD!
He is our ever faithful God.
He was with us in our distress;
He has borne our deepest cares.
How we must love the LORD!
We have seen the power of our God.
He has protected and preserved,
When we nearly lost our nerve!
How we must trust the LORD!
There is no one like our God!
He will give us needed courage;
We need not be so discouraged.
We must recognize our weaknesses;
We are often so close to faithlessness.
The goodness of the LORD would be revealed,
To those who fear and trust His divine will.
