LET US EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER
Trials and troubles are so much a part of life;
There may be people who will cause strife.
They will plot and plan to bring great harm;
Yet, we can still be most composed and calm.
We need not resort to all sorts of schemes;
The danger is that we will end up with sins.
How much wiser to exercise trust in the LORD;
We will be helped by none other than God!
We can bless the LORD at all times indeed;
He has more than met all our different needs!
He has delivered us from wicked plans;
We are safe when we are in God’s hands.
Let us truly magnify the LORD’s great name;
Let all know that our faith is never in vain!
Our soul cries out with great shouts of praise!
The humble shall hear and speak of God’s grace.
