I AM TROUBLED
There may be times when dark sins may dominate us;
We become so much more aware of our wretchedness.
We are afflicted badly in heart, mind and soul;
The Lord’s grace is needed to make us whole.
We need to learn how to be candid before God;
He is a most gracious and merciful LORD.
He understands our human weaknesses;
But he wants us to confess our sinfulness!
The feelings of our heart can be most painful;
But the Lord’s grace and mercy are wonderful.
There has to be full and complete confession;
The Lord will cleanse and offer regeneration.
It is wise to come before God earnestly;
The Lord will not condemn us unjustly.
He will hear our prayer with deep understanding.
He will do a deep and thorough work of cleansing!
