THE CITY OF GOD
What does an ideal City need most, to succeed?
The Psalmists suggest God, who meets our needs!
God’s Presence is the most important thing;
That alone enables the City to be thriving!
God will provide the City with life-giving water;
A River with many streams brings pleasure.
The City’s life is refreshed again and again;
A happy City is able to sing a joyous refrain!
God provides a Tabernacle for worship;
Believers rejoice together in fellowship.
The Lord will give it full protection;
He will give to His people salvation!
God is the Refuge for His people;
He will always be true and faithful.
The City of God will have His blessings;
May our hearts be filled with great rejoicing!
