WHOEVER OFFERS PRAISE GLORIFIES ME
How we must guard our lips so carefully;
Unkind and untrue words can hurt deeply.
God does not approve of such behaviour;
This is obvious as we carefully read Scripture.
Let us be challenged to offer praise;
We surely can appreciate God’s grace.
There are things that are praise-worthy;
May we ever seek to give God glory!
Our heart’s desire must be to glorify God;
He is our Saviour and our great LORD.
May we always hold Him in reverence!
May we never speak words of insolence!
The LORD is glorified when we offer praise;
God will graciously show us even more grace.
The fullness of blessings He will give,
To those who would not cause grief!
