THE LORD CAME
The LORD came down to Mt Sinai in great majesty;
Attending Him were thousands of angels in glory;
There was a great fire that caused all to fear;
The LORD had chosen, to His people, to draw near.
At Sinai, God gave His Law, the Ten Commandments;
These were profound words, all of them important!
The Presence of God made the mountains tremble;
This was the Creator God, who speaks to His people.
In greatness of might and majesty, the LORD came;
His wondrous Laws reflected His glorious Name.
This single experience should last every aspect of life;
Sadly, so many are still caught up with earthly strife.
The LORD came to introduce Himself as our God;
Wonderful untold blessings are given by the LORD!
Let us take the time to recall and remember God’s blessings;
May our heart be wonderfully filled with great thanksgiving.
