GLADNESS OF HEART
Gladness of heart is greatly desired;
Too many are weary and tired!
Let the heart learn to rejoice greatly;
May the Lord God be given glory!
Gladness of heart is found in the Lord;
Joy comes to those who hope in God.
There is no fear of bad tidings;
In the Lord, the soul is rejoicing.
Gladness of heart is given by the Lord;
Joy is found in the counsel of our God.
The heart dwells on His word happily;
There is a special blessing of tranquility.
In God’s presence great gladness is found;
The joy that He gives will surely abound.
The greatest pleasures of life are given;
These are special gifts from Heaven!
