BE MINDFUL OF THE WORD OF GOD
The Apostle Peter wrote strenuously;
To greatly stir up pure minds mightily.
There would be many problems in the last days;
Even believers can be easily led astray!
There would be scoffers who will scorn our beliefs;
They will continue to jibe and jeer, granting no relief.
They will raise questions and cast doubts on everything;
They can be fierce and deadly menacing.
How should believers respond to these challenges?
We are to hold fast to our faith in God’s messengers.
Prophets of God foretold the dreadful Day of the LORD;
Their words were fulfilled, for they were servants of God!
The Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ also proclaimed;
They preached boldly in the Saviour’s holy name.
Let us be determined to be mindful of the Word of God;
Let us be found strong and steadfast trusting the Lord!
