BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL
The Blessings of God are indeed many!
And they must be appreciated deeply.
The danger is to take Blessings for granted;
Then they would never be truly treasured!
The word “Benefit” well-describes God’s Blessings;
Our life would become that much more outstanding.
The Blessings of God bring such wondrous enrichment;
We will always be able to find so much encouragement!
The Blessings of God should cause us to offer praise;
Singing anthems to the LORD is something we must raise.
The praise of God should come from deep within our Soul;
How we must be thankful that we have been made whole!
Let us be challenged to consider afresh God’s Blessings;
Let our Souls be filled with a great sense of thanksgiving.
God has blessed us so wonderfully year after year;
May our hearts, to the LORD, be drawn near!
