THE PROMISES OF GOD
The Promises of God are truly astounding;
The Covenant given to Abraham is astonishing.
All God had promised would be fulfilled finally;
The land of Canaan was given to Israel literally.
The Promises of God are not easy to comprehend;
Why God takes so long to fulfil is hard to to understand.
The Lord Jesus promised a Second Coming;
Some were in doubt and others had misgivings.
The Apostle Peter reminded his readers to consider;
Human understanding may sometimes be in error.
A thousand years is a long time for Man;
But to the LORD, this is only a day’s span.
God is never slack in fulfilling His word of promise;
He is not willing that any soul should perish.
There are many souls who do not have salvation;
Let us seek to share the Gospel of redemption.
