THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME
The Lord Jesus came as the Son of Man;
This was all according to the Lord’s plan.
He would have to be tested by the Devil;
He must know how to resist Evil.
He would be given the Spirit of God;
That means the full power of the LORD.
But He would have to preach the Gospel;
Many were trapped by the power of Evil.
The Spirit’s Role would be all-important;
The Son of Man must speak what is relevant.,
There were many who need the Gospel power;
He must be there, strong and kind, every hour.
The Spirit of the LORD was given without reservation;
He would be involved in giving regeneration.
The Spirit’s Power must be sought even today;
May our heart begin this search without delay!
