THE BRIGHTNESS OF GOD’S GLORY
The Lord Jesus was the Perfect Son of Man;
He has come to fulfil God’s salvation plan.
He had come humbly to battle Satan and Sin;
Thank God that He has made us truly clean!
The Lord Jesus never ceased to be Son of God;
He was the brightness of the Glory of the LORD.
In Him is all power and great majesty;
No one equals Him in His sovereignty!
The Lord Jesus came as the mighty Word of God;
His teachings had the full power of the LORD.
Storms cease and demons cast out immediately;
All who truly believe stand in awe completely!
Let us be challenged to offer worship to our Saviour;
How blessed we are to have received grace and favour.
May we learn to love and treasure the Lord Jesus!
How we must thank God for imputed righteousness.
