THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT
The danger of Disunity was very real;
The Disciples were led by what they feel.
The Lord Jesus had to give reminders;
That Oneness is indeed a special treasure.
The Apostle Paul saw how a church can be divided;
This comes from people who were misguided.
They promote teachings that sowed discord;
Thus, he wrote strongly to encourage accord.
Unity is a special work of the Spirit of God;
A church that is united is blessed by the Lord!
There are so many things that unite believers;
Spiritual Oneness wrought is one of many treasures!
Let us bear in mind this special work of God;
Let us endeavour to protect this gift from the Lord.
May we never allow a false word to be believed!
Oneness is a goal that we must seek to achieve!
