我夜间的歌曲《重要教义-救恩》
Text: Colossians 3: 14-15
MSITN VITAL DOCTRINES – CHRISTOLOGY
“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
Colossians 3:14-15
PUT ON LOVE
1. Love is a key theme in the Scriptures.
a. The love of God. John 3:16
b. The love of the Lord Jesus Christ. John 13:1
c. Love as the fruit of the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:22-23
2. The command to love one another.
a. This was taught by the Lord Jesus. John 13:34-35
b. This command was reiterated. John 15:13, 17
c. This was taught by the Apostles. 1 John 3:10-23; 1 Peter 1:22
3. Love described and enjoined.
a. Love s the bond of perfection.
i. Love binds hearts together.
ii. Love expresses spiritual maturity.
b. Love is to be donned.
i. It is the garment the believer must put on.
ii. It manifests the love of God (1 John 4:12, 17).
THE PEACE OF GOD
1. Peace has some very vital aspects:
a. There is peace with God as a result of justification (Romans 5:1).
i. If sin is not dealt with, there is only enmity.
ii. When sin has been forgiven, peace with God results.
b. The believer may find the peace of God in prayer (Philippians 4:6-7).
i. The believer may be troubled by anxiety.
ii. But anxiety can be replaced by God’s peace through prayer.
c. Peace with fellow-believers must be pursued.
i. The Church must not become fragmented.
ii. The danger of schism threatened the early church.
d. The peace of God should rule in the heart.
i. Believers were blessed as peacemakers (Matthew 5:9).
ii. All were to remember God’s calling into “one body” (Ephesians 4:1-6).
e. There should always be thankfulness in the heart.
i. Thankfulness for salvation.
ii. Thankfulness for God’s blessings.
iii. Thankfulness should characterise our life.

经文:歌罗西书 3
“在这一切之外,要存着爱心,爱心就是联络全德的。又要叫基督的平安在你们心里做主,你们也为此蒙召,归为一体;且要存感谢的心。”
《歌罗西书 3:14-15》
