ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Pressure against the Church was oppressive;
The enemies of the Church were aggressive.
They jailed the Apostles and sought to cause fear;
But the Church to the Lord, in prayer, drew near.
The Brethren prayed humbly earnestly;
They saw Prophecy being fulfilled, clearly.
They sought the Lord’s grace and mercy;
They were standing for their faith bravely.
The Lord had heard the prayers of the Church;
He would never leave them in the lurch.
The place where they were assembled was shaken;
The Disciples experienced the power of God in heaven.
The Holy Spirit filled the hearts of all who prayed;
Their faith in the Lord Jesus was not mislaid.
The Disciples were filled with power and boldness;
They continued to build the Church in steadfastness.
