"He brings the princes to nothing"

Text: Isaiah 40:23

THE PREROGATIVE POWER OF GOD

The power of the LORD must be recognised. Isaiah sought to teach this vital knowledge about the power of God!

“He brings the princes to nothing;
He makes the judges of the earth useless.
Scarcely shall they be planted,
Scarcely shall they be sown,
Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth,
When He will also blow on them,
And they will wither,
And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble.”
Isaiah 40:23-24

1. Rulers of the land.

b) Seeds are very vulnerable.

c) They may be planted without too much difficulty.

d) But if the LORD blows on them:

i) They will wither.

ii) They will be blown away if a whirlwind comes.
