A BANNER TO THE PEOPLE
A great vision was given by the Lord;
This was revealed to a prophet of God.
Isaiah must have marveled at God’s plan;
This prophecy will be fulfilled by His hand.
This was a far-reaching prophecy;
Where animals live in harmony.
The prey need not fear the predator;
This would be a miraculous feature.
The earth would be filled with knowledge;
To learn about God would be a privilege.
The Messiah would be a glorious Banner;
He would draw the people together.
This was a glimpse of God’s future kingdom;
It would be wondrously and totally awesome.
The Messiah would reign as the King of kings;
The Lord would cleanse the world of deadly sins.
