COMFORT MY PEOPLE

CONCLUDING 2024

This year has been tumultuous in the world-front! War rages in the Middle East and Ukraine. On the personal side, some have suffered setbacks! How may we conclude 2024?

A WORD OF COMFORT

Let us conclude this year with a word from the prophet Isaiah.

1 “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”

Says your God.

2 “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her,

That her warfare is ended,

That her iniquity is pardoned;

For she has received from the LORD’s hand

Double for all her sins.”

3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness:

“Prepare the way of the LORD;

Make straight in the desert

A highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be exalted

And every mountain and hill brought low;

The crooked places shall be made straight

And the rough places smooth;

5 The glory of the LORD shall be revealed,

And all flesh shall see it together;

For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”     Isaiah 40:1-5

  1. God wants us to find Comfort in our life

  2. He will personally give this Comfort!

GOD’S PROMISES

Let us be encouraged to find the following to be true!

  1. The Forgiveness of sins
  1. Faith in God’s promise to bless
  1. Flurry of God’s glory to be seen!

Let us thank God for another year of safe-keeping! Let us look forward to a great year in 2025!
