“BUT I HAVE TRUSTED IN YOUR MERCY”
(I) WHEN TOUGH TIMES COME
1. When the enemy troubles us (Psalm 13:4)
2. When the enemy seems to be exalted (Psalm 13:2)
3. When he seems to prevail (Psalm 13:4)
(II) WHEN GOD SEEMS FAR AWAY
1. When it seems to take a long time for prayers to be answered (Psalm 13:1)
2. When He seems to have forgotten us (Psalm 13:1)
3. When He seems to have hidden His face from us (Psalm 13:1)
(III) THE TIME WHEN WE MUST EXERCISE TRUST
1. When we search our souls (Psalm 13:2)
2. When we feel a deep sense of sorrow daily (Psalm 13:2)
3. When we feel that we are near death (Psalm 13:3)
(IV) THE EXERCISE OF TRUST
1. In prayer (Psalm 13:3)
2. In the mercy of God (Psalm 13:5)
3. In hope of God’s salvation (Psalm 13:5)
(V) JOY AMIDST GREAT CHALLENGES OF LIFE
1. Rejoicing in God’s salvation (Psalm 13:5)
2. Singing to the Lord (Psalm 13:6)
3. Remembering how He has dealt bountifully with us (Psalm 13:6)
