(I) THE 10TH PLAGUE

a) On Pharaoh

a) Pharaoh will let Israel go

b) He will drive the children of Israel out of Egypt (Exodus 11:1)

 

(II) PREPARATION

1. Asking from Egyptian neighbours (Exodus 11:2)

a) Silver

b) Gold


2. Favour from the Lord

a) Favour from the Egyptians

b) Greatness of Moses (Exodus 11:3)

 

(III) THE NATURE OF THE 10TH PLAGUE

1. Moses’ word to the Pharaoh (Exodus 11:4)


2. God will slay the firstborn (male) of the Egyptians (Exodus 11:4)

a) The firstborn of the Pharaoh

b) The firstborn of the female servant

c) The firstborn of the animals


3. A great disaster in the land of Egypt (Exodus 11:6)

 

(IV) PROTECTION OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL

1. The dogs would not attack the children of Israel (Exodus 11:7)


2. The Lord will distinguish between

a) Egypt

b) Israel (Exodus 11:7)


3. The servants of the Pharaoh

a) They will bow to Moses in fear (Exodus 11:8)

b) They will say to Moses

“Get out, and all the people who follow you!” Exodus 11:8


4. Moses

a) “After that I will go out” (Exodus 11:8)

b) He went out of the presence of Pharaoh in anger (Exodus 11:8)

 

(V) A WORD FROM THE LORD

1. Pharaoh will not heed you (Exodus 11:9)


2. So that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt (Exodus 11:9)

 

(VI) SUMMARY STATEMENT

Exodus 11:10

1. Moses and Aaron performed many wonders and signs


2. Pharaoh did not heed and he did not let the children of Israel go


3. Heart was hardened

a) By himself

b) By the Lord
