Day 206 – Psalm 27

“My head shall be lifted up above my enemies” Psalm 27:6

DEEP ASSURANCE

David had deep assurance that he would triumph over his enemies. This assurance was well expressed in the following text:-

“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praise to the LORD.”
Psalm 27:6

APPROPRIATE RESPONSE- WORSHIP

It was natural for David to consider worship as the most appropriate response. What would God desire than heartfelt worship? David’s close relationship with the Lord and his deep knowledge of Him taught him that the best response he could make would be “to sing praises to the LORD!”
