(I) GOD SENDS MOSES TO PHARAOH AGAIN

Message of the Lord to Pharaoh

1. Thus says the LORD

2. Let My people go that they may serve Me (Exodus 8:1)

3. But if you refuse to let them go, behold I will smite all your territory with frogs (Exodus 8:2-4)


(II) PHARAOH

No response

 

(III) THE PLAGUE OF FROGS

1. Moses to speak to Aaron (Exodus 8:5)

2. Rod to be stretched over the streams, rivers and ponds (Exodus 8:5)

3. Aaron obeyed

4. Frogs covered the land of Egypt (Exodus 8:6)

 

(IV) THE MAGICIANS OF EGYPT

1. Enchantments employed (Exodus 8:7)

2. They brought up frogs too (Exodus 8:7)

 

(V) PHARAOH CALLS MOSES
1. Entreat the LORD for me (Exodus 8:8)

2. That He may take away the frogs from me and from my people (Exodus 8:8)

3. And I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the LORD (Exodus 8:8)

 

(VI) MOSES IS WARY OF PHARAOH
1. Accept the honour of saying when I shall intercede for you, for your servants and for your people (Exodus 8:9)

2. To destroy the frogs from you, your houses, that they may remain in the river only (Exodus 8:9)

 

(VII) PHARAOH’S RESPONSE
Tomorrow (Exodus 8:10)


(VIII) MOSES’ WORD TO PHARAOH

1. Let it be according to your word (Exodus 8:10)

2. That you may know that there is no one like the LORD our God (Exodus 8:10)

3. The frogs shall depart from the land (Exodus 8:11)

4. They shall remain in the river only (Exodus 8:11)

 

(IX) MOSES AND AARON
1. They depart from Pharaoh’s presence

2. Moses’ prayer to God

Moses cried out to the Lord concerning the frogs which He had brought against Pharaoh (Exodus 8:12)

(X) GOD’S RESPONSE TO MOSES

1. So the LORD did according to the word of Moses (Exodus 8:13)

2. The frogs died out of the houses, courtyards, and fields (Exodus 8:13)

3. The land of Egypt stank because of millions of dead frogs (Exodus 8:14)
(XI) PHARAOH’S HEART

1. He saw that there was relief (Exodus 8:15)

2. He hardened his heart (Exodus 8:15)

3. He did not heed Moses and Aaron (Exodus 8:15)

4. As the LORD had said (Exodus 8:15)
