i) You will eat bread without scarcity

THE DANGER OF FORGETTING GOD

Deuteronomy 8:11-20

1. Forgetting God

HOW GOD CAN BE FORGOTTEN

1. When the heart is lifted up amidst affluence

2. When the memory of dangers in the past fade with the passing of time

3. When the heart feels that everything was achieved by personal effort

THE CONSEQUENCES

1. Turning to idolatry

2. The nation will perish if it forsakes God and turns to idolatry
