"So shall your God rejoice over you"

Text: Isaiah 62:5

GOD’S JOY CONCERNING HIS PEOPLE

The LORD will rejoice greatly over the new Israel that He would create. That joy however must not be taken for granted.

“For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
