"The hand of the LORD"

Text: Isaiah 66:14

REJOICING IN THE LORD

There is every reason to rejoice in the LORD. This was a lesson that Israel needed to learn well.

“When you see this, your heart shall rejoice,
And your bones shall flourish like grass;
The hand of the LORD shall be known to His servants,
And His indignation to His enemies.
For behold, the LORD will come with fire
And with His chariots, like a whirlwind,
To render His anger with fury,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.”
Isaiah 66:14-15

c) They would also see God’s indignation towards the enemies.

b) The bones will flourish like grass.

i) Health and strength would be regained.

ii) Joy would gladden the spirit of the nation.

4. The LORD’s indignation against the wicked.

a) He will come in His holy anger.

b) He will come with His chariots.
