Jeremiah
"The Throne of the LORD"
Text: Jeremiah 3:17
THE LOSS OF THE ARK
In the past, the main concern was “the ark of the covenant”, and understandably so. But with the captivity of Judah, the Ark would be lost completely. Nobody has ever found the Ark after Babylon destroyed the kingdom of Judah.
A NEW CATCH-PHRASE
When the Lord had brought His people back, the new catchphrase would be vastly different! The new focus would be “The Throne of the LORD”.
“At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the LORD,
and all the nations shall be gathered to it,
to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem.
No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts.”
Jeremiah 3:17
