"He is exceedingly proud"

Text: Jeremiah 48:29

THE ARROGANCE OF MOAB

It is one thing to be pleased in doing well in life. It is another thing to become arrogant. Moab was arrogant in heart and attitude.

“You who dwell in Moab,
Leave the cities and dwell in the rock,
And be like the dove which makes her nest
In the sides of the cave’s mouth.
We have heard the pride of Moab
(He is exceedingly proud),
Of his loftiness and arrogance and pride,
And of the haughtiness of his heart.”
