MEDITATION

Exodus 28:3-4

3 So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments, to consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest.
4 And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skilfully woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to Me as priest.

MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE

1. Gifted artisans filled with the spirit of wisdom

a. These may be called “master-tailors” or, “bespoke tailors”

b. The clothes that the priests would wear must be made most skilfully

c. God would give the tailors “the spirit of wisdom” to do their work effectively

2. Garments for ministry

a. These garments were for the Priests

b. They would be consecrated for service in these special garments

c. Then they would minister to God as priests

3. The items that made up the Priestly garments

a. A breastplate

b. An ephod

c. A robe

d. A skilfully woven tunic

e. A turban

f. A sash

4. The significant lessons to learn:

a. Ministry to God is sacred

b. Great mindfulness must be practised in service

c. Serving God must be seen as a holy duty

3 你要吩咐所有我赋予智慧的巧手裁缝师为亚伦缝制衣服，使他分别出来，做圣洁的祭司事奉我。

4 他们要做的圣衣包括胸牌、以弗得、外袍、杂色的内袍、礼冠和腰带。要为你哥哥亚伦及其众子做这样的圣衣，好让他们做祭司事奉我。

在生活里有意义地应用

1. 上帝赋予巧手裁缝师智慧

a. 这些可以称为“裁缝大师”或者，“定制裁缝师”

b. 祭司要穿的衣服必须缝制得最顶级

c. 上帝会赋予裁缝师“智慧”使他们有效地完成他们的工作

2. 为事奉的衣服

a. 这些衣服是给祭司穿的

b. 他们将穿上这特别的衣服被分别出来

c. 然后他们将以祭司的身份来事奉上帝
