Text: Exodus 33: 9-11

MEDITATION

Exodus 33:9-11

9 And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.
10 All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.
11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.

MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE

1. The Tabernacle

a. This word was used carefully.

b. The actual Tabernacle was not yet set up.

c. This was the temporary “Tent of Meeting”.

2. The Presence of the LORD

a. It manifested itself in a special way.

b. A pillar of cloud descended on the Tent of Meeting.

c. It stood outside the door of the Tabernacle.

d. There, the LORD, spoke with Moses.

3. Appropriate Response of the people

a. When the people saw the Pillar of Cloud,

b. They would stand up and offer worship to the LORD.

4. God’s relationship with Moses

a. The LORD spoke to Moses, “face to face”.

b. They spoke as “friends”.

c. Moses had an amazing relationship with God.

5. Joshua

a. He continued to be very attached to Moses.

b. He stationed himself outside the Tent of Meeting.

c. He would guard the place when Moses went to the main camp

i. To visit people.

ii. To help those in need.

《出埃及记 33：9－11》
9 摩西进会幕的时候，云柱降下来，立在会幕的门前，耶和华便与摩西说话。
10 众百姓看见云柱立在会幕门前，就都起来，各人在自己帐篷的门口下拜。

11 耶和华与摩西面对面说话，好像人与朋友说话一般。摩西转到营里去，唯有他的帮手，一个少年人嫩的儿子约书亚，不离开会幕。

在生活里有意义地应用

1. 会幕

a. 这词用得很谨慎

b. 真正的会幕尚未被建立

c. 这是暂时的“会幕”

2. 上帝的同在

a. 它以特殊的方式显露

b. 云柱降在会幕上

c. 它立在会幕门前

d. 上帝与摩西在那儿说话

3. 百姓的适当反应

a. 当人们看到云柱时

b. 他们会站起来崇拜上帝

4. 上帝与摩西的关系

a. 上帝“面对面”与摩西说话

b. 他们以“朋友”的关系说话

c. 摩西与上帝有着美好的关系

5. 约书亚

a. 他继续与摩西有亲密的关系

b. 他紧守会幕外，没有离开

c. 当摩西去营里时，他会守卫会幕
