Text: Genesis 19: 30-33

MEDITATION

Genesis 19:30-33

30 Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him; for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave.
31 Now the firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man on the earth to come in to us as is the custom of all the earth.
32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father.”
33 So they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE

1. Living in Zoar

a. This was a town near Sodom and Gomorrah.
b. Lot and his two daughters had fled there to escape from Sodom and Gomorrah.

2. Living in fear

a. Lot was filled with fear.
b. He was afraid to live in Zoar.
c. He feared the citizens of Zoar. They might have blamed him for the destruction of
the twin cities.

3. Living in a cave

a. Lot decided that they must live farther away.
b. Temporarily, they lived in a cave.

4. Two plans of the daughters of Lot

a. They had grown up in Sodom and Gomorrah.
b. Their sense of right and wrong was misplaced.
c. They caused Lot to be so drunk; he did not know he had slept with his daughter.

《创世记19：30-33》
30罗得因为怕住在琐珥，就同他两个女儿从琐珥上去，住在山里。他和两个女儿住在一个洞里。
31大女儿对小女儿说：“我们的父亲老了，地上又无人按着世上的常规进到我们这里。
32来，我们可以叫父亲喝酒，与他同寝，这样我们好从他存留后裔。”

33于是那夜她们叫父亲喝酒，大女儿就进去和她父亲同寝。她几时躺下，几时起来，父亲都不知道。

在生活里有意义地应用

1．在琐珥居住

a．这个城市靠近所多玛和蛾摩拉
b．罗得和他的女儿从所多玛和娥摩拉逃到那里

2．在恐惧中生活

a．罗得充满了恐惧
b．他害怕在琐珥生活
c．他害怕琐珥的居民。他们可能会因双城的毁灭而埋怨他。

3．在洞里生活

a．罗得决定他们应该去远一点的地方生活
b．他们暂时住在一个洞里

4．罗得女儿们的两个计划

a．她们在所多玛和蛾摩拉长大
b．她们对与错的概念是不正确的
c．她们把罗得灌醉；他不知道自己和女儿同寝
