Text: Genesis 7: 13-16

MEDITATION

Genesis 7:13-16

13 On the very same day Noah and Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark—
14 they and every beast after its kind, all cattle after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.<
15 And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life.
16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the LORD shut him in.

MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE

1. Entering into the ark

a. Noah and his wife.
b. His three sons and their wives.

2. Also in the ark

a. Clean and unclean animals.
b. Species:
i. Animals
ii. Birds
iii. Creeping things
c. Male and female
i. For pro-creation purposes.
ii. For the preservation of the species.

3. As God commanded

a. Noah and his family heeded the LORD’s command.
b. The rest of the world paid no attention.

4. God’s divine longsuffering

a. God exercised great longsuffering (1 Peter 3:20).
b. But only Noah and his family heeded God.
God shut Noah and family and all the creatures that were collected, safely in the ark.

沉思

《创世记 7：13-16》
13 正当那日，挪亚和他三个儿子闪、含、雅弗，并挪亚的妻子和三个儿妇，都进入方舟。
14 他们和百兽各从其类，一切牲畜各从其类，爬在地上的昆虫各从其类，一切禽鸟各从其类，都进入方舟。
15 凡有血肉、有气息的活物，都一对一对地到挪亚那里，进入方舟。

16 凡有血肉进入方舟的，都是有公有母，正如神所吩咐挪亚的。耶和华就把他关在方舟里头。

在生活里有意义地应用

1. 进入方舟

a. 挪亚与他的妻子
b. 他三个儿子与三个儿妇

2. 也进入方舟的

a. 洁净与不洁净之生物
b. 不同种类：
i. 百兽、牲畜
ii. 禽鸟
iii. 爬在地上的昆虫
c. 有公有母
i. 为创造
ii. 为了确保所有种类继续生存

3. 正如上帝所吩咐的

a. 挪亚一家听从了主的命令
b. 其他所有的人却毫不注重这命令

4. 上帝容忍等待

a. 上帝容忍等待《彼得前书 3：20》
b. 但是，听从上帝的只有挪亚一家
上帝把挪亚一家，与一切进入方舟的活物安全地关在方舟里头。
