My Song In The Night (Gospel of Luke)
我夜间的歌曲《路加福音》
Text: Luke 18: 28-30
THE EXCLAMATION OF PETER
1. Peter was one of the 12 Apostles.
a. He was not a Rich Ruler.
b. He had no wealth to give up to follow the Lord.
c. But he could not but compare himself with the Rich Ruler.
2. He exclaimed the following thoughts aloud:
a. Peter echoed what all of the Apostles must have felt.
b. All of them left all to follow the Lord Jesus.
‘Then Peter said, ‘See, we have left all and followed You.’ So He said to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.’”
Luke 18:28-30
