My Song In The Night (Gospel of Luke)
Text: Luke 23: 10-12
MORE ILL-TREATMENT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
1. Mankind’s sinful inclination was displayed once again at the trial before King Herod Antipas.
2. The things that were done to the Lord Jesus were totally uncalled-for!
“And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him. Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate. That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other.”
Luke 23:10-12

SENT BACK TO PILATE

A STRANGE TURNAROUND

3. For some strange reason, Pilate and Herod became friends again!
