Text: Luke 8: 43-48

A POOR AND SICK WOMAN

1. Among the people who thronged the Lord Jesus was a woman

a. She had a bleeding problem for 12 years (Luke 8:43a).

b. She had spent all her money seeing physicians (Luke 8:43b).

c. But no cure had been found (Luke 8:43c).

2. A touch of faith

a. She came from behind and touched the border of His garment (Luke 8:44a).

b. She was healed instantly (Luke 8:44b).

3. A question raised by the Lord Jesus

“Who touched Me?” Luke 8:45a

4. Denials

a. All denied that they had touched the Lord (Luke 8:45b).

b. They were afraid to be rebuked.

5. Peter’s observation and question

a. Observation

i. There was a multitude thronging the Lord.

ii. They were pressing Him (touching).

b. Question

How could the Lord say, “Who touched Me?” (Luke 8:45c).

6. The Insistence of the Lord Jesus

a. “Somebody touched Me” (Luke 8:46a)

b. “For I perceived power going from Me” (Luke 8:46b)

7. The woman

a. She knew then that she could not be hidden (Luke 8:47a).

b. She came to the Lord trembling (Luke 8:47b).

c. She fell before the Lord and admitted that she was the one who had touched Him (Luke 8:47c).

d. She was healed instantly (Luke 8:47d).

e. She was fearful.

i. Was the Lord angry?

ii. Would she remain healed?

8. The Lord’s kindness

a. The Lord Jesus was not upset.

b. He spoke to her very kindly.

“Daughter, be of good cheer; Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48

c. What the Lord wanted to do.

i. To encourage the woman.

ii. To commend her for her faith.

iii. She need not remain hidden and fearful.

7. 那位女人

a. 她知道不能隐藏《路加福音8：47a》

b. 她战战兢兢地来到主耶稣面前《路加福音8：47b》

c. 她俯伏在主耶稣脚前，承认是自己触摸祂《路加福音8：47c》

d. 她立刻得好了《路加福音8：47d》

e. 她感到惧怕

i. 主耶稣生气了吗？

ii. 她还会痊愈吗?

8. 主耶稣的善良

a. 主耶稣并不生气

b. 祂很善良地对她说：

“女儿，你的信救了你，平平安安地去吧！”《路加福音8：48》

c. 主要做的是

i. 鼓励那女人

ii. 表扬她的信心

iii. 她不需要隐藏自己或感到惧怕
